Dean Chintopequeno: Of course Arabic ayyam (day) is close to Edenic YoM (day), as another Semitic language. As seen in various chapters of The Origin of Speeches, Arabic was also spun off from Edenic at The Tower of Shinar (later Babel), and so there are signs of corruption or Babel-babble , (like nasalizations and metathesis) when Arabic is compared to Edenic. The bigger question of the DAY is if Greek aion (and English eon) are from Edenic YoM. Aion means a long indefinite time period (as in DAY of the jackal). This would allow one to see each YoM of the Creation Week in Genesis I as an era (as in Jurassic), an eon, and not just a 24-hour day. The literal, solar day is also problematic since the sun wasn't put in place yet as a celestial time-maker. By the way, senor Pequeno, I hope you saw and enjoyed our Spanish CD script and slideshow. A-Dios, Issac
