Welcome to all of you who are new to the concept of Edenics. Edenics is the study of language origins, and the thesis that all human language is related to...derived from...and still traceable back to a single original language. You may prefer the term 'monogenesis of language.'
So, ah, does one have to be a linguistics scholar to understand and work with Edenics? No. Does one have to be fluent in multiple languages? No. Does one have to be an 'Intelligent Design' supporter? No.
What you do need to be is a human being. And that makes us all cousins! Does one need anything else? Just some curiousity!!
You'll find website addresses, email addresses, announcements, etc right here...real soon.
There's actually an Edenics dictionary with thousands of entries! It's mainly a work that documents how thousands of English words are related to the original human language...from thousands of years ago. And within that dictionary...primarily English...one can also find many related links to Latin, Greek, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Sanskrit, Quechua words, and many other seemingly unrelated languages.
Fortunately, The Origin of Speeches is now available. It's available as tree-ware (an actual book...on paper) and via download and even on CD-ROM if you prefer plastic.
Check out some of the samples at homestead.com/edenics - I'm sure you'll be fascinated!!
You can either search for that old soda company commercial...and listen to the song, 'I'd like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony.' Or you can learn about the real thing!! (Hmm, isn't that from the same soda company? Never mind about that.)
See you here...real soon...cousin!!
