Hi my name is Jonathan Mohler. I am currently working with Isaac Mozeson, assisting him with Bantu words and their Edenic roots. I specialize in Swahili and Luyia. Swahili is challenging, as it contains a great deal of direct Arabic imports. The Swahili Language contains a core vocabulary, however, that is strictly Bantu. Out of these words we can still see Edenic origination. Luyia, on the other hand, is a different matter. It contains very few borrowed words. Moreover, it is part of Group J of the Bantu languages, which is considered by linguists to represent the oldest of Bantu vocabulary. The specific dialect that I refer to the most is Wanga. Wanga's usefulness arises from the fact that it represent a midway dialect that is intelligible to all Luyia speakers. Check out my blog at jonathanmohler.posterous.com/
