Editor's Note (Joshua): By inputting a portion of the above into a search engine, it appears that this article has been going the rounds in many different sites for a number of years. According to one website, no such study was ever made at Cambridge Univerty. True or not, it would be nice to find out the source for proper crediting. Anybody knows? The amazing readability of the above article, even though it is jumbled up and "full of spelling mistakes" makes one think again about the subject of spelling, especially in relation to Edenics. Isaac Mozeson correctly makes a point in "The Origin Of Speeches" about how one should not put too much weight on spelling (or something to that effect).

Greetings and salutations, Josh!! This ersatz Cambridge U. study (which _has_ been floating around cyberspace for a long time) would seem to show that 'metathesis' (which one could maybe break into two 'ten dollar' words as...linguistic dyslexia) isn't as big a stretch as it sometimes seems....to me, anyway. (especially when I'm running low on aspirin) 8-(
BTW, I'm patiently waiting for my chance to send congratulations to a pair of famous authors. I hear the ink is dry, but the books are still bouncing around on a tru...umm, on a lorry somewhere in the Appalachian mountains in the eastern United States.

PS: Cool! I was just able to paste my name...in Edenic orthography!! Now to see what happens when I hit the 'Post' button. Wish me luck!!

Dear Nuevo Mexicano:
Hold those congrats. The Origin of Speeches seems to be held up temoprarily. So, for the next few months email Joshua Ben for his version, and email me for the text as I had envisioned it -- it's on the Edenics CD III along with the e-word dict. and many docs.
Thanks, Isaac
